This article studies the effectiveness of a new disinfectant based on alkylbenzylammonium chloride and 5% alcohol solution of iodine. As a result of the experiments, it was determined that the combined action of two disinfecting agents - quaternary ammonium compounds and iodine increases the disinfecting properties of the resulting disinfectant by potentiating the action. The toxicity of the agent also decreased due to the astringent action of iodine. Also, iodine improves the presentation of the product, and the convenience of its use is ensured by the possibility of long-term storage at low temperatures with subsequent preservation of disinfectant properties after defrosting.
