Использование хитозана против фомоза (гангрены) картофеля при хранении

Гангрена картофеля является опасным заболеванием, которое развивается во время хранения и может привести к серьезным потерям урожая. Послеуборочное применение фунгицидов предупреждает массовое распространение возбудителя. Однако устойчивость возбудителя к фунгицидам и обеспокоенность общественности в отношении безопасности пищевых продуктов требуют поиска новых альтернатив фунгицидам, потенциально менее вредных для здоровья человека и окружающей среды. Исследовали противогрибковая активность хитозана в отношении Phoma exigua var. foveata, анализируя его ингибирующее воздействие на гангрену клубней картофеля. Результаты показали, что рост мицелия и прорастание спор Phoma подавлялись обработкой хитозаном, а ингибирующий эффект сильно коррелировал с концентрацией хитозана. Эффективность послеуборочной обработки хитозаном изучали на предмет индуцированной устойчивости к гнили Ph. exigua в клубнях двух сортов картофеля (Колобок и Санте). Исследования in vivo показали, что обработка хитозаном в концентрации 0,5 или 1 % эффективно влияла на поражение гангреной клубней картофеля, инокулированных суспензией спор Ph. exigua. Однако обработка хитозаном в концентрации 1 % вызывала фитотоксичность клубней картофеля. Хитозан усиливал активность пероксидазы, полифенолоксидазы и фенилаланин-аммиак-лиазы в клубнях. Авторы предполагают, что влияние хитозана может быть связано с индуцированной устойчивостью к гнили Ph. exigua у картофеля, и использование хитозана может быть эффективным средством при частичной замене синтетических фунгицидов для защиты клубней картофеля при хранении.
